Project overview:

Emotion is a third party lead generating business for EV companies based in Spain. Their goal is to help automakers and dealerships accelerate the transition to electric cars, paving the way towards a more sustainable future in Spain and beyond. Thus, I was asked to create two high-conversion landing pages aimed at generating leads for Volvo electric vehicles, enhancing the partnership between Emotion and Volvo, and ultimately increasing the sales of Volvo EVs.

The main challenge was maintaining a consistent look and feel that reflects the premium nature of Volvo EVs, but with Emotion branding, while creating engaging content that captures the interest of potential customers.

The way I tackled this, is by making sure to highlight Emotion's color palette, focusing on their signature teal and dark blue to convey sophistication and reliability. I selected high-quality images of Volvo EVs that highlight their design, innovation, and performance and made sure to adopt a friendly yet professional tone that aligns with Emotion’s branding and maintains the premium image of Volvo.

  • Deep dive in the brand guidelines to make sure I get a good grip of Emotion's brand identity
  • Studied the current market for electric vehicles and Volvo’s positioning within it.
  • Reviewed competitor landing pages for best practices and inspiration.
  • Designed mobile first, because according to Google Analytics data most previous users join the websites/ landing pages from their mobile device.
  • Designed high-fidelity mockups, incorporating brand colors, fonts, and imagery.
  • Crafted compelling headlines and subheadlines to grab attention.
  • Ensured both designs are being created for mobile, tablet, and desktop views.
  • Highlighted experiences of customers who benefited from previous offers by adding a Google Reviews widget.
  • Cohesive look and feel that resonated with the target audience, reinforcing the premium nature of Volvo EVs.
  • Compelling and engaging content that effectively communicated the value proposition of Volvo EVs.
  • Reinforced the company’s branding.
